About us

In August 2008, Pastor Monica M. Ledbetter began having Bible Study out of her living room. It later turned into Trust in Jesus Outreach Ministry. Our very first church service was in October 2008.  God had given Pastor Ledbetter a vision. Since our very first Worship Experience on October 12, 2008 that vision has never wavered.

Since that time, Trust in Jesus has experienced what can only be described as a supernatural move of God. We have learned to expect the unexpected and trust God as He has changed lives, put families back together, and extended grace and forgiveness to all who believe.

We have come a long way in a very short time but we are never finished and the best is ahead.

She served as Associate Pastor at High Point Church of the Living God Word and Deliverance Ministry until 2008. God gave her a vision In August of 2008. That vision resulted in Trust in Jesus Outreach Ministry being birthed.  She is the daughter of Pastor David Ledbetter and the late Minister Marie Martin. She is the mother of three beautiful children and grandmother of four.  She is a Praise and Worship Leader, which comes easy because her first love is singing for the Glory of God. Pastor Monica M. Ledbetter is an anointed woman of God who ministers with authority and clarity. Her objective is to deliver the uncompromising Word of God so that people will be propelled into living the Word and applying it.  Pastor Ledbetter has a heart for the people. She enjoys sharing the message of hope and faith. It is the vision of Pastor Ledbetter that through innovative and unique ministry outreach, Trust in Jesus Outreach Ministry will establish a Christ centered culture that will create people who cannot be destroyed!

Pastor David Ledbetter was born November 3, 1952, in Mt. Gilead, NC to the late Margaret Ledbetter Medley and the late James (Buck) Little. He is the oldest of 11 children. He was relocated to High Point North Carolina in 1965 by his mother Margaret Ledbetter Medley. He now resides in High Point, North Carolina along with his wife of 26 years, Mrs. Tonette Ledbetter. He is a proud father of 7 children, 29 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He attended Guilford Tech in Business Administration. Pastor Ledbetter is a former member of the 82nd Airborne Division.

Pastor Ledbetter was a person of the streets that God called to the ministry. After running from the calling for a while, he finally surrendered to God. Pastor David Ledbetter was ordained in 2006 to carry the Word of God under Apostle Jerome V. Dumas. He pastored Danville Church of the Living God Word and Deliverance Ministry in Danville, Virginia for 5 years. In 2013, he resigned and came back home to North Carolina to be of help to his daughter, Monica Ledbetter, who is also a pastor at Trust in Jesus Outreach Ministry. He now serves as Associate Pastor of that ministry and is patiently waiting on God’s next move.

While Pastor Ledbetter is waiting on his next move, he is doing a lot of traveling and missionary work at different churches representing God. He truly enjoys delivering God’s Word. He feels that this is what he was born to do. That his purpose is to tell people about the struggles of the street. How called him from the streets not only to save his life but to change it.

Her favorite scripture is Romans 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Minister Davis is a 20 Year Cancer Survivor and throughout this journey, she believes that God brought her to the light for a purpose and she in turn wants to use this light to lead and guide others unto His marvelous light and continue to do the work of the Kingdom according to Acts 13:47-49, For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
